Baby Buds

In my original "June '09" post I had these pictures -but in the moving of things around, I accidentally deleted them and as late as it was when I finally posted it - I totally forgot!

One night while I was in VA Beach, I stayed with Jordan, Sue and Elyse Heijermans. Maddy and I had a wonderful time hanging out with our old friends.

Maddy and Elyse hit it right off - by that I mean Maddy clawed Elyse's ear while trying to eat the side of her face! -haha! They were a riot together. Seriously though, they are only 2 days apart in age and so sweet together! Thanks for letting us come visit guys!

I was not kidding - Maddy was totally attacking poor Elyse!

Maddy was playing with Jordan and as soon as she saw the camera - she looked over and smiled-what a ham!

June '09

On June 20th before the Barker's left town, we went to the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park for a concert in the city. We brought fruit, drinks, veggies, cheese, and chocolate. We had
such a nice time together!

Tim took this while we were looking at the stars listening to the music.
So beautiful!
We are missing our friends in Israel!
My sweet friend Heather, form HFLS, babysat Madison for us so that we could
go in that night. Thanks Heather! You are so nice!

This is a family picture on Father's Day. I am so thankful for my sweet husband.
He is a great father to our daughter!
Then I babysat sweet Michael Yoakum for Kim. He was so good and Maddy loved watching him. She is being such a cheeser in this picture!
Then June 22 - 27 Maddy and I went to VA Beach to visit some close friends.

*One day we met up with some of my old GCA teaching buddies. We met at Jessica Palmer's house for lunch. It was so nice to see everyone again!

Lacie and Danielle with Maddy
Cheryl with her sweet girl
Here is both of Cheryl's girls (Leilani and Kalena) sleeping. They were so precious!
My dear friend Dawn was sweet enough to keep Madison and I at her place during our week - even though it meant keeping Noah and Sophia in their room. I loved spending time with Dawn, Nate, and the kids. We had so much fun together!

I even got to catch up with one of Tim's old students - Ashton. She was so sweet with Maddy.

As well, I got to "represent" the Baylor family at Nate's ordination.
It was very cool to see how the Lord was leading them to Boston. This was Dawn giving her testimony of how she came to know Christ.

Some old seminary friends at a local park. It was so wonderful spending time with Julie, Kristin, Jess, Dawn, and Sue (along with their little ones!) So hard to believe everyone is heading out to be a part of different ministries all over the U.S. - oh yea - and Canada :)

Thanks for your friendship Dawn - you are such a sweetheart! I am thankful for your friendship and excited about what plans God has for you and your family in Boston.
Maybe our daughter will be best friends too :)
