I had parent/teacher conferences tonight - so I thought I would get some pics while I was dressed up :)
Black is so slimming, isn't it - ha ha ha!!!
Ok so this pregnancy has seriously been flying by. I think heading back to teaching again has really consumed me - I just can't believe I am in my 3rd trimester already! The Lord has been so good. Things have gotten a little bit better at school. The kids are still a handful, but today I met with each and every parent at parent conferences, and they were very responsive to me. It is so good to know that I have supportive parents. To all moms (and dads) out there - PLEASE support your child's teacher - it will be the best for his/her education! It makes my job of training and educating children so much easier! I only had a few that were what I would call "difficult" conferences -but even those were not terrible.
Again, I am so thankful for the Lord's goodness.

Looking so cute! I like the necklace. Is it new? Miss seeing you lately!
You look wonderful!! Cute outfit. Ladies always made it sound like they were pregnant forever, but I think it's flying by for me also. I guess it helps when we haven't been sick!! :)
I'll amen that last paragraph! I totally wished that some of my parents would just support me, I think their children would be a whole lot better off sometimes if they didn't always believe their child was perfect. That was upsetting. Glad all is going well! Hopefully your pregnancy will fly by too. I was feeling the same as you until the bitter end. It gets to feeling long then, but you may be so absorbing in teaching that you won't feel that way!
You look wonderful Julie! The Mom-to-be glow definitely suits you! I'm glad your parent confernces went well too. . . I'm praying for you and little Madison!
You are so cute. I also noticed the "glow." I am so happy for you and glad to hear that the pregnancy is going by quickly -- that must mean that it's been going well for you. The first trimester and half the second dragged on and on for me because of morning sickness and then it flew by although I agree with Katrina about the end. It was the same for me -- the last three weeks, it just wasn't comfortable to sleep for me but that might not be the case for you. That's the good side of everyone being different with their pregnancy and delivery and time with breastfeeding if you're going to do that. If someone tells you something that was difficult for them, you don't have to dread that it will happen that way for you. :-)
Amen to that last paragraph as well!!! I had a wonderful experience in my 3 years teaching 4th grade with my parents. It was so nice to have the parents' support!!!
Yeah for being in your 3rd trimester!!! I am telling you...so far my pregnancy has flown as well and I am at 34 weeks!!! Glad your school year has gotten better!! Hope you continue to feel well. Great pictures!!!
Thanks gals !
Kate - I made the necklace a while ago, just haven't worn it lately. Miss seeing you too!
Lookn' good Julie - hard to believe that the time goes by that fast!! Madison will be here before you know it!! Glad to hear your school year is off to a good start - God knew you didn't need any extra stress this time around!
I think sometimes for parents it's hard to force their kids to take complete responsibility for their behavior or irresponsibility and tend to want to blame circumstances or even the teacher. That is so aggravating! Now that I'm a parent of a school aged child AND a teacher I see the struggle and I have to remind myself that it's a growing time for everyone involved and my support for the teacher is sending a message to my child that we're on the same page and we present a united front. No issues so far, but I'm not naive enough to believe that there won't be any down the road. (Wow, that was a rant, wasn't it!?! Didn't mean it to be, just agreeing with you completely.)
You're looking fabulous, little lady. ;) HUGS!
Suz - you make some excellent points! so good to hear from a parent/teacher :)
You look great, Julie! I know what you mean about how the pregnancy flies by! I'm already at week 34, and it's hard to believe there's just a little bit left:) Hope you've been feeling well, too!
