Relaxation

The other day I came home after a long and hard day at work. I knew Tim wouldn't be home from school for a few hours, so I stopped at Starbucks, got a tall, nonfat, pumpkin spice latte and a snickerdoodle cookie. I brought them home and snuggled on my couch under a blanket with a book , my coffee and my cookie. It was a cool night out and it was just beginning to really feel like fall. I read for about 2 hours - what a nice way to relax!

How do you like to relax when you get a chance to?

THAT is how I would like to relax!! I'm telling you girlie, you're really getting me into the Fall season!;) How is teaching going? Sounds like you guys are doing so great! I don't have lessons after school today--so I might just have to go by Starbucks myself;) miss you!

That sounds wonderful! I know it had to be hard for you to ignore all the other things you must do and accomplish to just relax! I'm so proud of you! I invision my relaxation to be exactly the same. A nice warm drink (tea or coffee), a yummy treat, and a good book, swallowed up by a nice fleece blanket!

That is exactly what I would choose to do too. I have never tried their pumpkin spice latte, but it sounds wonderful. A cup of coffee, a cookie (or two or three), and a book -- oh, and Kayla in bed or out with Dan. (I hope that doesn't sound terrible. I find that I am less patient with her when I am trying to take a break and keep getting interrupted by her "needs." Of course, after a break, I'm renewed in my motherhood.) I'm looking forward to a break now!

I'm with you Julie!! A book and a mug of something yummy---I think I'd go for a Cinnamon Dolce Latte.

um, if i'm home, relaxing probably includes icecream and scrapbooking with some fun music on. out and about, it includes a frappucino and a magazine.

That's it!! Only I'd be drinking a tall coconut mocha! I know it's not very fall like, but it is my favoirte :)

Oddly eneough, sometimes after a long week at work I like to go shopping on Friday - it does the trick for me too.
